Project EVE Audio

Yes, EVE as in EVE Online, the space sandbox MMO from CCP Games famed for being ‘spreadsheets in space’. It was the first MMO I ever really got drawn into, and my first foray into roleplaying in an MMO. ‘Roleplay? In EVE?’ You bet!

How this all started was from a mixture of my work on several Doctor Who fan audio dramas, and being invited to be on an EVE podcast as part of the roleplay group I was part of (said group also went on to have their own successful YouTube series, which I was one of the hosts of). Late nights and boring work days led me to write a couple of funny little script ideas- then led to me roping a few of my friends (as well as a cameo from another well-known EVE creator) to record some of the voices for me. I’d done audio editing as part of my university degree, and had kept it up as a hobby on the side along with my amateur voice acting.

So I wrote, directed, edited, and published my first EVE Online audio skit. Four more followed.
