Final Fantasy XIV - Roleplay Events

When I stopped playing EVE Online, I missed the character roleplay side of it the most. A friend convinced me to try playing Final Fantasy XIV, and I actually enjoyed it purely for the content….for a while. I moved my character to the North America servers after a different friend from my EVE days told me how much more active the RP scene was.

That was back in 2021, and I still play and RP today. Group roleplay events - whether pre-planned story or just open freeform RP - allow me to bring in many elements of the creative writing and storytelling skills that I love. So I started to write my own small-scale roleplay events and hosted them; imagine a tabletop roleplay game but in an MMO world with direct control of your characters, and that’s pretty much how it goes!
